Since his debut appearance with the team at Le Mans, Niki Tuuli will for the first time race on familiar terrain this weekend at the Dutch GP.
Having raced at the prestigious TT Circuit Assen during his time in the World Supersport Championship, the Finnish Moto2 rookie is eager to use his previous experience around the historic track to his advantage, as he targets the points on board his Kalex Moto2 machine.

“I’m feeling really good about going to Assen. After returning home for one week of work and training, I feel ready for this next GP. I know the track quite well from my experience in World Supersport; on a totally different bike of course but at least this time I don’t have to spend so many laps getting used to a new track. I really like Assen a lot; I’m looking forward to getting out there on the Moto2 bike. I think this weekend, as my speed is coming better, we need to focus on what we can change on the bike to help me to improve more. We started to do this in Barcelona and we have a plan for Assen, so I feel positive that we can make a good step. My aim is to be consistent with my times and have no crashes! I want to get closer to the points and be in the top fifteen if I can; I will push for this but let’s see.”
