PETRONAS Sprinta Racing rider Niki Tuuli has firmly set his sights on stepping up the momentum at Silverstone, following his experience at the Red Bull Ring last week in Austria.
The Finnish rider put in a sterling effort to come from 29th to 21st place at the incredibly technical circuit, but just missing out on the top twenty again, saw the Moto2 rookie leave Austria, less than satisfied with his progress throughout the weekend.
Tuuli will be looking to make the most of his track time around the long, flat and fast British circuit, in order to further improve his feeling on board the Kalex Moto2 machine and break though the barrier into the points.

“Last week in Austria was really difficult, so I’m looking forward to starting fresh at Silverstone. I need to learn the track quickly and make consistent improvement. I really want to have a good weekend, to get the positive momentum flowing again. It won’t be easy at Silverstone, as its another new track for me, but from what I’ve heard about it, I feel confident that I can adapt to it well. Hopefully we will have a dry weekend too, so that we can really work on our set-up and I can get up to speed fast. The aim is as always, to fight for the points and this is what I will be focussing on.”
